The platform brings together multiple entry points — called gateways — each focused on a specific dimension of cultural life: dining, events, travel, community, lifestyle, the marketplace, creator discovery and business participation.
At the center of it all is The Yard: a personalized convergence experience that brings these gateways together with your identity, your community and your journey across the ecosystem.
The Intelligence Layer
Urban Yard's intelligence layer is provided by Dream Factory Analytics (DFA). DFA builds privacy-aware, culturally informed AI and data capabilities that power discovery, personalization and business intelligence across the platform.
Griot is Urban Yard's planned user-facing AI experience. ORA is DFA's developing intelligence-orchestration architecture. Neither is currently available through the public Urban Yard website.
DFA capabilities are built to respect cultural context, identity boundaries and community privacy — not just technical compliance minimums.
Built for Trust
Urban Yard is built with consent, identity protection and transparent governance as foundational requirements — not afterthoughts. The platform is designed so that communities, businesses and creators can participate knowing their data and identity are treated with care and respect.
The Urban Index is a developing DFA-powered intelligence framework designed to identify and communicate meaningful movements across culture, community, experiences, businesses, places, sentiment, participation and economic activity. Its methodology, governance and validation controls are under active development.
